    • Mansfield Reporter, Friday 31st October 1924 (page 7) reported: 'BRONZE TABLETS FOR NOTTS. AND DERBYSHIRE PARISHES. It was reported at Tuesday's meeting of Notts. Territorial Association that the comittee which organised the erection of the memorial at Crich had arranged to provide bronze memorial tablets suitable for erection in different places in the two counties. The committee had ordered a tablet costing £15 to be erected on the Drill Hall at Nottingham, and had offered a grant of £5 to the 8th Battalion Sherwood Foresters towards a tablet if erected on the Drill Hall at Newark. It was also reported that the Army Council had authorised associations to make certain alterations in the service dress so as to provide a rather smarter outfit for walking out'. https://www.britishnewspaperarchive.co.uk/viewer/bl/0001825/19241031/139/0007
