    Description
A floriated style cross surmounting a stone pillar with a gothic design, column, pedestal and two-stepped base. Four carved angels are placed in niches just beneath the cross. A draped female figure, symbolizing remembrance, stands at the foot of the column, right arm raised to a scroll with the dedication. The arms and motto of the Borough of Kensington are situated beneath the female figure. The whole stands on a curved paved area in front of the church with two steps leading up from the public pavement, low walls either side of the steps and iron railings at the back. A Victoria Cross paving stone has been added at the foot of the memorial beneath the left hand inscription.
