WMR Reference Number: 1218
Description: Cast bronze male Victory stood on the prow of a vessel on a pedestal surmounting tall rostral column. A cast bronze anchor hangs from a wreath beneath the pedestal, and cast prows of a Viking ship are attached to the lower half of the column, which is mounted on a plinth which bears the inscription in relief. Bronze bands encircle the bottom of the column.
