Beneath the photograph was a report of the unveiling: "Memorial Panels To City Police. AS nearly 450 members of the city and county police forces, the special constabulary, pensioners and city firemen stood to attention in a hollow square in the yard at Leicester City Police headquarters, the Lord Mayor, Ald.
