    • The Scotsman, 28th August 1923 COLDINGHAM - Major Waring, MP for East Lothian and Berwickshire, who was accompanied by the Dowager-Marchioness of Tweeddale, unveiled a war memorial at Coldingham on Sunday afternoon. There was a united open-air service, in which the ministers of Coldingham and St Abbs took part. Mr RB Bell, chairman of the Parish Council, accepted on behalf of that body the custody of the memorial, which bears the names of 39 men of the village and district who fell in the war.
