Inscription: TABLET ONE AND TWO: THE CLOCK WAS PLACED IN THIS TOWER BY/ PUBLIC SUBSCRIPTION IN MEMORY OF THE BRAVE MEN OF THE PARISH OF/ SUTTON-CUM-LOUND/ WHO DIED FOR THEIR COUNTRY 1914 - 1919/ (NAMES) TABLET THREE: THE CLOCK WAS PLACED IN THIS TOWER BY/ PUBLIC SUBSCRIPTION IN MEMORY OF THE BRAVE MEN OF THE PARISH OF/ SUTTON-CUM-LOUND/ WHO DIED FOR THEIR COUNTRY 1914 - 1919/ (NAMES)/ 1939 - 1945/ (NAMES)

Maintenance History: ONE OF THE TABLETS WAS ORGINALLY IN THE DAUGHTER CHURCH AT LOUND UNTIL ITS CLOSURE. THE OTHER WAS PLACED IN THE VILLAGE HALL UNTIL IT TOO WAS CLOSED AND TURNED INTO A PRIVATE DWELLING
