    Description
Sandstone Celtic wheel cross with a crown within a laurel wreath carved at the crossing with Celtic decorations on the upper shaft, which is tapered, and has a half-relief carving at its flared base depicting St George slaying the dragon. The shaft sits in a three-stage chamfered plinth, which carries the years of the conflict on the middle stage, with a dedicatory saying carved around the four faces of the lower stage. Celtic knotwork design flanks the carved dedicatory inscription on the 6 o'clock face, with the Names incised into the 9 and 3 o'clock faces of the square stone base. The base sits on two circular steps on a circular pavement surround.
