    Description
The school chapel, originally St Paul's Church, was in use as a classroom before it was decided in 1919 to restore it as a memorial to the fallen of WW1. Behind its altar are two oak panels: each has a raised, gilt surround around the names, in a single column, and each has a gilt crown at the top, centre between the commemoration. 47 individual oak panels, each containing the name of a former pupil of the school who died in WW2, are arranged alongside each side of the chapel, on the wall behind the pews. A swimming pool was also built as a memorial to the fallen of WW2 but this has since been filled in and covered by a basketball court.
