    • The war memorial originated as a reredos commissioned by Bryan Clark of Tuxford, but it was refused by the vicar of the parish. Clark kept it in the nearby Market Hall and after WW1 commissioned two extra panels to convert it into a War Memorial in 1920. This was not accepted by the church or the parish committee but was later installed in the White family chapel within the church, c 1930.
