Description: Rectangular, portrait orientated, stone tablet with raised central section and incised inscription. It has a crest within a wreath of laurel leaves carved in relief at the top centre that contains three Coat of Arms, the initials VR, the date 1900 and the word 'HYTHE'. It commemorates First World War fallen who were part the Borough's staff and employees.
Inscription: IN MEMORY OF/ THE STAFF AND EMPLOYEES OF/ THE LAMBETH BOROUGH COUNCIL/ WHO FELL IN THE GREAT WAR/ 1914 - 1919/ (NAMES)/ "LEST WE FORGET"
