1937
The Hospital and associated wooden Roll of Honour boards were originally erected here. In 1937 the site was sold, so the wooden boards were removed and taken to a Metropolitan Police storage are, where they later rotted. (The Hospital building itself was later demolished in the 1970s). The surviving fragments of the boards were later found and taken to the Metropolitan and City Police Orphans Fund office in Putney.
