    Description
A cast bronze figure on a sandstone ashlar pedestal and base. The figure depicts Prince Charles Edward Stuart on horseback in a jaunty pose and wearing a frock coat with sword at his belt. The horse has a lively gait with one leg raised. The rear of the base of the casting bears the founder's and sculptor's marks. The oblong pedestal has an overhanging coping with battered face and a projecting plinth with bevelled top. Originally unadorned, the pedestal later had an oblong cast bronze plaque added to the 6 o'clock face and an oblong brass plaque added to the 3 o'clock face. During landscaping and paving works in 2008-2009 the ground level was changed and a matching base was added below the pedestal.
