Type of Memorial: Roll of honour or book of remembrance
WMR Reference Number: 63626
Description: On a grey stone plinth , the sides angled inwards , a black marble slab on which is a bronze glazed cabinet within which is the book of remembrance . There are carrying handles on each side of the cabinet . The dedication is incised round the edges of the marble slab . The book shows the names of the fallen in alphabetical order with full details for each entry . Although the dedication states only the Great War the Book of Remembrance contains the names of both WW1 and WW2
