    Description
A Spitfire propellor mounted on a rough stone plinth, with a rectangular tablet mounted into the face of the plinth. The tablet bears the RAF badge at centre and a depiction of an RAF pilot, circa 1941, to the left. A depiction of a Supermarine Spitfire is in the top right corner. The inscription is at the centre. When the RAF returned to the site in 1980, none of the original buildings survived so any memorials will have been lost.
