    Maintenance History
In 2017, a grant of £510 was awarded through War Memorials Trust Grants Scheme alongside a grant of £2,444 from Cadw's Grants for War Memorials scheme. The funding helped steam clean the memorial. The jointed were re-pointed with lime mortar whilst stone repairs were undertaken and missing paving replaced. The lettering was re-gilded to improve legibility. While the railings and gates were repainted. As part of the In Memoriam 2014 initiative SmartWater was applied to all metal elements to deter theft.
