Inscription: TO THE HONOUR AND GLORY OF GOD/ AND IN LOVING MEMORY OF THE BRAVE/ WINSFORD MEN WHO LAID DOWN/ THEIR LIVES FOR THEIR COUNTRY/ IN THE GREAT WAR 1914-19/ FOR THESE SAILORS & SOLDIERS MEMORIAL SERVICES/ WERE HELD IN THIS CHURCH/ (NAMES)

Maintenance History: Grant applied for November 2011 to dismantle the memorial to allow the formation of new concrete foundations as the memorial was unstable. It is uncertain if the necessary repairs were carried out
