    Shouldered trefoil arched sandstone headstone with carved column pilasters and incised inscription. Also the grave of the subject's brother, Private R S Pemberton, died 07/07/1918.

    In Loving Memory of/ Pte. Thomas W Pemberton 37625./ 2nd Manctr. Regt. & beloved son of/ Samuel & Mary Pemberton,/ Killed in Action in Belgium, June 19th 1917,/ Aged 34 years./ (Brother's details)/ "Greater love hath no man than this,/ That he lay down his life for his friends."/ ....
