Description: Bell rope mounted in a presentation case. Bell rope is predominantly white with stripes of purple, blue, red and black. Presentation case has a blue mount and a black frame with gold rope detail. Inscription in gold lettering on plaque.
Inscription: The Yangtze Incident April 1949./ This Bell Rope was presented to the/ Endeavour Building by Shipmates from the/ HMS London 1947-49 Association/ on September 6th 2002/ in memory of the 46 Royal Navy & Royal Marine/ crew members from the four HM Ships/ killed in this Incident./ Lest we Forget.
