Description: OBELISK SURMOUNTED BY SMALL CELTIC CROSS. ON SQUARE PLINTH AND BASE. WW2 NAMES ON ADDITIONAL TABLET LEANING AGAINST THE FRONT. RELIEF OF SWORD ON FRONT FACE, ALONG WITH PAINTED LION RAMPANT (ARMS OF ALDERNEY?)
Inscription: At the Base of the Cross- TO OUR GLORIOUS DEAD 6 o'clock face of plinth- [names] 1914-18 3, 9 and 12 o'clock faces of plinth- [names] 6 o'clock face on the top face of the top step- THIS SITE WAS A GIFT FROM/JUDGE N P. LE C. BARBENSON/1921 WW2 Tablet-[names in 2 columns]/1939-45
