    OBELISK SURMOUNTED BY SMALL CELTIC CROSS. ON SQUARE PLINTH AND BASE. WW2 NAMES ON ADDITIONAL TABLET LEANING AGAINST THE FRONT. RELIEF OF SWORD ON FRONT FACE, ALONG WITH PAINTED LION RAMPANT (ARMS OF ALDERNEY?)
