    Presented to St. Hugh's School/ by The Battle of Britain Historical Society/ (RAF pilot's wings)/ In HONOUR/ of former pupil/ Flying Officer/ Charles Nevil Overton DFC/ RAF 609 Squadron - Spitfires/ Their participation in the Battle of Britain 1940 which helped to prevent/ an invasion of this country and subjugation of its people./ "NEVER IN THE FIELD OF HUMAN CONFLICT/ WAS SO MUCH OWED BY SO MANY TO SO FEW."/ Winston Spencer Churchill, House of Commons, 20 August 1940/ One of the Few.
