Description: Ogee topped headstone with elaborate checks and tops, mounted on a plinth and concrete base. Inscription is incised and picked out in white with a single line incised border. At the top is an incised motif of laurel wreaths.
Inscription: Erected by/ ELIZABETH McFARLANE LATTO,/ IN LOVING MEMORY OF HER DEAR HUSBAND/ JAMES LAWSON,/ WHO DIED 3RD DECR. 1907, AGED 49 YEARS./ ALSO THEIR SON JAMES,/ PTE. 1/8TH A & S. HIGHS. KILLED IN ACTION/ IN FRANCE 28TH JULY 1918, AGED 21 YEARS./ ALSO OUR DEAR MOTHER/ THE ABOVE/ ELIZABETH McFARLANE LATTO,/ WHO DIED 22ND OCTR. 1931 AGED 72 YEARS./ THEIR ELDEST DAUGHTER/ CHRISTINE McFARLANE LAWSON/ S.R.N./ WHO DIED 7TH DECR. 1975, AGED 86 YEARS./ ALSO THEIR YOUNGEST DAUGHTER/ CATHERINE LATTO BOWMAN/ DIED 27TH NOV. 1989, AGED 86 YEARS/ "THY WILL BE DONE."
