    Description
    Family gravestone in two parts comprising of a shallow base plinth constructed of an unknown stone. On top of this sits the main headstone which is constructed of an unknown material which has been painted with grey paint. The top of the memorial is semicircular and below this in the same shape there is a multiple 'X' design, below this an ornamental leaf design engraved into the memorial also in a semicircular shape. On the main face of the memorial there is an engraved border which follows the shape of it and within this the inscriptions are engraved into the memorial.

    Erected / BY / JOHN DEY / ABERCHIRDER / IN LOVING MEMORY / OF HIS WIFE / MARGARET DAVIDSON / WHO DIED 14TH JANY. 1885 / AGED 31 YEARS / ALSO THEIR DAUGHTERS / JANE / WHO DIED 6TH OCTR. 1879 / AGED 2 YEARS & 6 MONTHS / MAGGIE ANN / DIED 7TH MAY 1893, AGED 19 YEARS. / PTE. WILLIAM DEY / WHO DIED OF WOUNDS RECEIVED IN ACTION / 30TH AUGUST 1918 AGED 25 YEARS. / ELIZABETH AULD / BELOVED WIFE OF JOHN DEY / DIED AT MOUNTGERALD, DINGWALL / 25TH MARCH 1921, AGED 68 YEARS. / AND THE SAID JOHN DEY, GARDENER / DIED AT BANFF, 3RD APRIL 1932 / AGED 83 YEARS.
