- Garden bounded by sandstone posts and chains, in the centre of which is a sandstone balustraded enclosure, with pillars surmounted by balls at the corners and centres, and each side of the entrance to a paved square, at the North end of which is a tall, temple-like facade with two pillars which are linked to the main structure by short low walls. The pillars support a corniced roof behind and above which appears the injunction, Lest we forget, incised on the stonework. The base of the pillars are inscribed with the dates of the two World Wars. The Great War dedication and plaque is a tall rectangular cast bronze plaque installed on the rear wall between the pillars. Two WW1 cast addendum plaques are situated on the low wall connecting the main structure to the left-hand balustrade. The upper of these plaques is nowy-headed and carries the date of the wars above the names. Below this is a small plaque, dedicated on Remembrance Sunday, 14/11/2021, and carrying two names and dates. The original two cast nowy-headed WW2 plaques are installed on the low walls between the pillars and the main structure whilst a similar plaque, bearing the WW2 addendum, is on the low wall connecting the main structure to the right-hand balustrade. Also on this plaque is a Non-combat dedication from 1935 and a general dedication to the armed forces. Beneath this is another small plaque, dedicated on Remembrance Sunday 2021, bearing a WW2 names and a 1954 Non-combat name. The inscriptions on the plaques are raised.
