Description: Stone, cairn-like memorial built at one end of a biology pool which is in the centre of a school courtyard. Two bronze plaques are attached to opposing sides of the cairn, each with inscriptions in raised capital lettering below school crest: beneath the commemorations, the names are in two columns.
Inscription: IN MEMORY OF/ OLD WOLVERTONIANS/ WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES/ FOR THIS COUNTRY/ DURING THE/ GREAT WAR/ 1914 - 1918./ ROLL OF HONOUR/ They have fallen/ Each in his field of glory...Cowper/ (Names) WOLVERTON/ GRAMMAR SCHOOL/ IN HONOURED MEMORY/ OF THE OLD BOYS OF THIS SCHOOL/ WHO FELL IN THE/ 1939 - 45 WAR/ (Names)/ THEY DIED THAT WE MIGHT LIVE
