    Description
Family gravestone of light grey granite, consisting of a tall obelisk sitting on top of a large granite memorial block, on the face and at the bottom of the obelisk is the engraved image of a machine gun which appears to be a Lewis Gun, this obelisk sits on top of a large family memorial block on four equal sides. At the top this block near to the bottom of the obelisk, there are 4 greco-roman type roof designs, one on each side of the gravestone each with a leaf design etched on its face. As you head down the headstone, this tapers in before it tapers back out slightly towards the ground. The memorial sits on a stone base plinth of unknown stone type. The face of the main memorial panel, the bottom section and right panel all have engraved lettering into the stone, which at some point have been painted gold for highlighting, however, this has faded over time and some parts of the stone are difficult to read.
