Description: STONE BLOCK BASE SURMOUNTED BY DOUBLE PLINTH TAPERED SHAFT AND CROSS. CROSS HAS CARVED ROSSETES IN THE QUADRANT BETWEEN EACH ARM TERMINAL. WHOLE STANDS AT A CORNER OF THE TOP WALL OF A SUNKEN GARDEN. NAMES OF THE DEAD ARE INSCRIBED ON TABLETS SET INTO THE TOP PART OF THE WALL. SMALL FIGURE OF ST MICHAEL AND DRAGON AT THE TOP OF THE CROSS SHAFT. ROSETTES BETWEEN ARMS OF CROSS.
Inscription: CROSS: AT THE CALL OF KING AND COUNTRY THEY LEFT ALL THAT/ WAS DEAR TO THEM, ENDURED HARDNESS, FACED DANGER, AND/ FINALLY PASSED OUT OF THE SIGHT OF MEN BY THE PATH OF/ DUTY AND SELF-SACRIFICE, GIVING UP THEIR OWN LIVES THAT/ OTHERS MIGHT LIVE IN FREEDOM. LET THOSE WHO COME AFTER/ SEE TO IT THEIR NAMES ARE NOT FORGOTTEN WALL: (NAMES)
