- Description
- A family headstone in three parts with the upper two sections constructed from grey granite. The base plinth is large, is of an unknown unpolished stone and tapers towards the upper plinth. This upper plinth, although slightly smaller than its base is still very large. It is polished on all sides and has a border design on its face around the sides, this appears that it could have been used for inscriptions but is currently empty. The upper part is the main headstone which is tall and has a stilted arch at its top. The front side edges of the headstone have been blunted and there is a faint borderline design near the circumference of the headstone. The inscriptions have been engraved into the stone and ad some point were highlighted with white paint although this has somewhat worn away.
