    Square bronze plaque with stone frame, decorated with carved roses beneath each end of curved pediment, and small rectangular stone tablet underneath. The main inscription is on the stonework and the names on the plaque are headed by departments as follows: GENERAL OFFICES; GOODS DEPARTMENT; COACHING DEPARTMENT; ENGINEERS DEPARTMENT; OUTDOOR LOCOMOTIVE DEPARTMENT; LOCO CARRIAGE AND WAGON DEPARTMENT; MARINE DEPARTMENT; OTHER DEPARTMENTS
