Description: Latin cross standing on a three stepped base. At the head of the cross is a carving of the intertwined letters "IHS" with the "I" in the form of a cross and the whole being recessed within a frame in the shape of a cross. Below this is a carving of a gothic type window and, below this, a fleuron. Lettering is in raised block capitals.
Inscription: / AND OF THEIR YOUNGEST SON / HARRY BEN, / 2ND LIEUTENANT, THE KING'S (LIVERPOOL) REGIMENT, / KILLED IN ACTION NEAR ARRAS, FRANCE, / 3RD MAY 1917, IN HIS 24TH YEAR. /
