- Description
- Large, wall-mounted, black painted, wooden board with pitched pediment which contains a wreath and the commemoration. Names are below on 9 panels. Those who 'served' names are on panels 1 to 3 and 7 to 9, as well as the bottom half of panels 4 to 6. The fallen are on the top half of panels 4 to 6. All lettering in faded gold.

SCHOOL DEMOLISHED AND SITE REDEVELOPED. MEMORIAL SAVED BY MACCLESFIELD MUSEUMS WHERE IT WAS STORED AT THE PARADISE MILL MUSUEM UNTIL 2000 WHEN IT WAS RELOCATED AT THE KINGS SCHOOL AS A MILLENIUM PROJECT.
