    Description
    An bronze oval plaque mounted centrally on a brass backing plate enclosed within a pair of fluted Corinthian columns supporting a horizontal entablature. The assemblage is mounted on a wooden backing board. On the board a fixed ribbon is attached to the top with a crown, flanked by two acacia sprigs immediately below the ribbon. A further fixed scroll is attached at the bottom of the board.

    On a Ribbon at the top of the frame - BETHESDA U.M. CHURCH WATERFOOT On the brass backing plate at top - TO THE GLORY OF GOD THIS TABLET WAS ERECTED/ IN HONOURED MEMORY OF THOSE WHO FELL IN THE GREAT WAR/ 1914 1919/ Oval bronze plaque in centre - (WW1 names) with THEIR NAME LIVETH at bottom of the border. On the brass backing plate at bottom -1939-1945/ THIS TABLET WAS ADDED TO THE EXISTING WAR MEMORIAL IN MEMORY/ OF TWO OF OUR MEN WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE WORLD WAR/ (WW2 names) On a scroll at bottom of the frame - THEY COUNTED NOT THEIR LIVES DEAR UNTO THEMSELVES
