Description: Cenotaph on high pillar, with two plaques containing names. Carved laurel wreath on front face near the top.
Inscription: (TOP OF PILLAR) PAX TO THE/ GLORY OF GOD/ IN HONOUR OF THOSE WHO SERVED IN THE/ GREAT WAR 1914-1919(SIC). AND IN GRATEFUL/ REMEMBRANCE OF THOSE WHO WENT OUT/FROM SHEPTON MALLET AND LAID DOWN/ THEIR LIVES FOR THEIR COUNTRY/ THEIR NAMES BEING RECORDED BELOW.
