    • Tamworth Herald - Saturday 31 March 1917 AMINGTON. PARISH COUNCIL. (Letter received from a firm at Tamworth, offering to erect a metal memorial cross, free of charge in the cemetery, in memory of the Amington soldiers who had fallen in the war. It was decided to leave the matter in the hands of the Chairman.)
