A sandstone monument comprising a pillar on a square pedestal and base, set into an elevated walled enclosure reached by a flight of seven steps. The rear wall of the enclosure has two tablets listing those who served in WW2. The square, tapered pillar has a moulded cap above a wreath in relief on each face. Each face of the pillar has a recessed panel with a roundel at the centre: the roundel on the 6 o'clock face contains a King George crown in relief. The pedestal bears inscriptions on three faces. A wreath and ribbons in relief with the dates and the commemoration are on the 6 o'clock face: the names of those who died are beneath. Those who served and returned on the 9 and 3 o'clock faces. The pedestal surmounts a plain base. The two upright oblong tablets have plain rebated borders and rest on stone brackets. The main inscriptions are incised in mixed styles of upright gothic lettering. The names are incised in upright capitals, those for WW1 being block and those for WW2 being roman lettering.
