    Description
    Green marble-framed triptych, with red alabaster panels. The central panel has a pedestaled temple arch, within which is a gilded lozenge holding a crucifix on a brown ground, surrounded by gilded palm wreaths. At its base sits the town's coat of arms within a shield, supported by gilded palm leaves. Above each of the flanking panels are the Union Flag and White Ensign, both carved and coloured with gilded crown above. Below the centre panel is the carved and coloured Arms of Berkhampstead supported by gilded leaves. The inscription is incised, with the dedication being on the central panel in script. The Names commence on the left-hand panel.
