    Description
    Three, wall mounted memorials of alabaster. Highly detailed central tablet topped by three figures. Central figure standing, flanked by two seated figures. Figures surmount central black square which bears inscription in gold coloured lettering. Below central inscription are three sets of three figures in relief, nine figures in relief in all. Sets of figures represent nurses, possibly civilians & airmen. At the sides of the tablet are niches which hold two figures representing the army, (soldier on right) & navy, (sailor on left). Reliefs at base of central tablet of field gun, battleship & tank. Two smaller alabaster tablets on either side of central tablet bear names of WW2 fallen in gold coloured lettering. Above inscription is a cross topped with a golden crown. Wreaths in relief above figure of soldier & sailor. Below the main memorial group are three WW1 inline wall mounted, landscape orientated stone tablets, each with a raised border incorporating a decorative design in relief. Incised names.
