    Description
    Square sectioned stone plinth with platformed upper face, integrates with a square sectioned cenotaph with four corner columns & arched capstone. Gilded wreath and red rose with gilded "W" for Wellingborough, both on front face. Accessed by a wide stepped & paved area, a concave wall behind the cenotaph bears names on many incised stone tablets. The memorial forefront area is hard surfaced to the pavement exits & semi-enclosed by a small garden with ten stone boundary posts.
