Description: Wall mounted, portrait orientated round-headed bronze plaque, enclosed in a decorative, moulded wooden frame. Upper two verses of inscription, each on raised semi-circular scroll-like banners.
Inscription: NOT UNTO US O LORD NOT UNTO US / BUT UNTO THY NAME GIVE THE PRAISE / THIS BRONZE / WAS ERECTED TO THE / EVERLASTING HONOUR / AND IN GRATEFUL MEMORY OF THE FOLLOWING GOOD / AND TRUE MEN OF THE PARISH OF TOWCESTER WHO / LAID DOWN THEIR IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 - 19 / (3 columns of NAMES) / THEIR NAME LIVETH FOR EVERMORE
