HE JOINED THE E.A.M.R. / DEC. 1915 AND DIED AT NAIROBI FROM / INJURIES RECEIVED IN G.E.A. IN 1916 WHILE ATTACHED TO THE 27TH / MOUNTAIN BATTERY R.A.. "OUT OF THE / STRIFE OF THE WINNING INTO / THE PEACE OF THE WON."
