Description: White marble statue of a standing soldier, head bowed, with hands clasped above a reversed rifle. Statue surmounts a tall red granite pillar with chamfered top to plinth and ogee-moulded top to main shaft. Plinth stands on a three-stepped rectangular base. Incised names and inscriptions on two faces of the pillar and infilled with gold coloured paint. Inscriptions in the Welsh language.
Inscription: 6 o'clock front upper stage pillar face: ER COF AM FECHGYN YR ARDAL HON, / A SYRTHIASANT YN Y RHYFEL MAWR. / 1914-1918. / (14 NAMES) // 6 o'clock front lower stage pillar face: "EIN GWROL RHYFELWYR, GWLADGARWYR TRA MAD / DROS RYDDID GOLLASANT EU GWAED" // 9 o'clock front upper stage pillar face: ER COF AM Y RHAI A SYRTHIODD / YN RHYFEL / 1939-1945 / (3 NAMES) / MWYAF GARW MARW YMHELL.
