    Description
    Large white marble statue of a soldier in cap and greatcoat, in mourning pose with head bowed and rifle reversed and resting on left foot. Mounted on rectangular pylon and two stepped base. Dedication is in both Welsh and English. The four facets of the pylon contain the names of the dead in leaded lettering. Flanked on either side by two rectangular marble panels commemorating and naming the dead of WW2.
