    Description
    The obelisk is located within a small garden area of the Reading Room, next to the roadside. Cornish stone square base surmounted by a Portland stone square plinth with square tapering Portland stone obelisk. Inscriptions on inset panel on front face of plinth. At the foot of the obelisk is a carved cross & crown.
