Description: Two-stepped square base surmounted by a rough-hewn, square sectioned tapering plinth with two recessed & smoothed inscription faces. Incised inscription lettering originally infilled in black but now fading. Rising from the plinth is a rough-hewn rectangular sectioned tapering wheel cross.
Inscription: 6 o'clock face : TO THE GLORIOUS MEMORY / OF ALL WHO FELL SERVING / THEIR GOD, KING AND COUNTRY / IN THE GREAT WAR 1914-1919 / AND ESPECIALLY OF / (4 NAMES) / THIS MONUMENT IS GRATEFULLY DEDICATED / BY THE PARISHIONERS OF PRESTON-ON-STOUR 3 o'clock face : 1939 - 1945 (3 NAMES)
