Description: Two-stepped square base surmounted by a square sectioned plinth & tapering square sectioned pillar-like obelisk. Inscription and name plaques on sides of obelisk pillar. Lion gripping a wreath in its mouth, in relief above 6 o'clock inscription panel face of obelisk. A metal fence encircles the upper base-step. The whole memorial is enclosed on two sides by a floral garden.
Inscription: 6 o'clock face : + / IN GRATEFUL / MEMORY OF / THOSE FROM / KENILWORTH / WHO GAVE / THEIR LIVES / IN THE / GREAT WAR / 1914-1919 / "LEST WE FORGET" 3 & 9 o'clock faces : + / (139 NAMES) 12 o'clock face : + / THESE GAVE THEIR LIVES / IN THE WAR OF 1939-1945 / + / (68 NAMES) / KOREA 1952 / (1 NAME)
