Description: Free standing cylindrical column and base surmounted by an urn-like structure. Decorative border around the top of pillar. Incised inscription.
Inscription: THE / GREAT WAR / 1914 - 1919 / IN GRATITUDE / TO / THOSE CONNECTED / WITH THIS CHURCH / WHO MADE THE / SUPREME SACRIFICE / GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN THAT THIS / (Names)

Maintenance History: September 2018 - Church is owned by the Historic Churches Trust and a small group of friends are planning to restore the memorial after it was damaged some years ago. The urn on the top of the column is loose and has been reinforced with a collar of cement, and the lid is missing a top ball. As the memorial was carved from marble which was quarried in India it is possibly unique for a war memorial
