    Description
A large format, hand-produced scroll. The illuminated title is surmounted on the right by the flags of five of the Allies - Great Britain, France, Belgium, Italy, and the USA. The main body of the scroll is divided into four columns, the central two of which carry the names of all who served - the second of these columns having a painting of a dove sat on a branch, with a sprig of olive in its beak, and the string holding a scroll which falls below, and carries the date of the Armistice. In the lefthand column is a verse, above a painting of the chapel. The column is infilled with a pattern intertwining ivy. In the righthand column, beneath an arch filled with the painting of a flower, is the list of those who died. A scroll beneath carries a sentimental sentence. The glazed frame appears modern.
