    WOODEN ALTAR PANEL WITH DEDICATORY TABLET Panel depicts Christ (in the centre), a disciple kneeling on a pedestal holding prayer book or similar, St Michael standing on a pedestal (to the left hand side of Christ as viewed from the front), A winged lion on a pedestal (to the left of Christ), A winged bull on a pedestal (to the right of Christ) and a figure of the happy warrior on a pedestal (right hand side of panel) and far right an bird of prey on a pedestal. Dedicatory white stone tablet set into the wall in red blocked capital carved inscription with crest of bird of prey with wreath around its neck atop, with cylindrical pillars either side topped with inverted half pyramid decorated with leaves surmounted by inverted step plinth top and bottom decorated with diamond and circle shapes above and circles and rectangles below.

ELDEST/ SON OF CHARLES AND JENNY/ SCOTT AT BUCKLAND MANOR/ "E'EN AS HE TROD THAT DAY TO GOD/ SO HE WALKED HE FROM HIS BIRTH/ IN SIMPLENESS AND GENTLENESS/ AND HONOUR AND CLEAN MIRTH"/ GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN/ THAN THIS THAT A MAN LAY/ DOWN HIS LIFE FOR HIS FRIENDS."
