    Description
    Rectangular brass plaque , the longer axis horizontal , on a dark wood backboard . Within a border of flowing leaves , indented at the top , is the inscription surmounted by the badge of the Royal Berkshire Regiment and a colour facsimile of the Mons Star on the left and the Badge of the Artists Rifles and a colour facsimile of the 1914/15 Star on the right , the badges in raised brass and the facsimile ribbons enamelled . The inscription and border are incised and coloured black . REGIMENTAL BADGE OF THE ROYAL BERKSHIRES AND THE ARTIST'S RIFLES AT THE TOP
