Description: Ten Portland stone tablets placed on either side of the entrance to the Library (close to the Eric Gill sculpture outside, which was intended by Michael Sadler to be a memorial to those who lost their lives in the war). Carved inscription. WW1 names continue across onto the WW2 tablets. Painted university crest is carved in bas relief at the top of each of the tablets.
