Description: Three-stepped base surmounted by plinth, shaft and wheel cross. Inscription on the front face of the memorial. Whole stands on a concrete area inset with pebbles. Two flower tubs flank the memorial and a chain link fence borders the road side part of the area. To the rear of the cross is a metal railing fence. Celtic knot work design on the cross. Five bosses on the face of the cross.
Inscription: 1914 - 1918 WAR/ (NAMES)/ AND OF THE 1939-1945 WAR/ (NAMES)/ IN MEMORY/ SACRED FOR ALL THE/ MANNINGTREE MEN/ WHO FELL IN THE GREAT WAR A.D. 1914 - 1919/ FOR THE WORLD'S FREEDOM/ GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN THAN THIS THAT/ A MAN LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR HIS FRIENDS/ ERECTED BY PUBLIC SUBSCRIPTION
